phew! I'm glad cik pah's house can surf the web. you know nowadays people. they were so addicted to it. ok. straight to the subject please. ok. as you know that i am now in Singapore. the place that i miss for about a month. today is such a great great day. we went to the Vivo City! that place is way superb. the places is just like KLCC and Pavilion or someplace like that. outside that big and wide building, there is this water fountain. we can play and run around that water fountain and the most important thing is TO GET WET! awesome i tell you. taking picture in the middle of the water. then, we went to upper level. this i tell you, can't be found in KL. there is this pool which look just like swimming pool but it's not one. but, we can walk and play inside it. gerek seyh!! we(me, fatin, kak nad, kak lia, abang fendi and of course, Dani!!) play beside and in the pool. Dani is having his great time. he scream and laugh and do the fun thing lah. we even take some pictures. oh yeah. i forgot to tell you. memang dah nyanyuk minah ni. at the moment we reach there, the first shop that we go in is this National Geographic place. that place is half museum and half shop. that place is wonderful. after playing in the water under the sun, we go and have something to eat. where? at fig & olive. i fell quite awkward because i hate to go to the places which is EXPENSIVE. I'm not this daughter of a rich man. we usually go to the mamak stall. sometimes, i love being an ordinary girl. we eat because we hungry and we eat until we satisfied. rich people eat because at the same times, they are appreciating the taste in the food. they can't enjoy the food and eat it until they are satisfied. that's why. that is my opinion. got something to say? just keep it in your heart and say nothing okay. i don't want to hear anything okay. after that, i went to this bookstore. I'm searching for the twilight saga because I'd read the synopsis and it is marvelous. but i didn't find the saga but i found this the complete illustrated movie companion. i don't need that. i want the original one. and when i look at the price, i think that i should just go to the MPH in Malaysia because it is way cheaper. at the end of my journey, our leg is feeling like, feeling like nak tercabut. we don't think that we can go around again. it's to tiring you know. but today is such a wonderful day. i don't know where i can go there again. yeah. there is another story that i want to tell you. we ride the cab all the way home. the driver is this chinese guy. he is quite friendly. then, he start to talk about the Singapore's Flyers. he said that ah,, i forgot already lah what he said but he said something which is not known as compliment. yeah, the accident is quite shocking but weird. i know about the news because i'd read it at the internet. technology's. they spread the news even faster.

Singapore Flyer will not resume operations till after the new year
SINGAPORE : The Singapore Flyer observation wheel will not resume commercial operations for at least another week. Its management is currently investigating the exact cause of the wheel's failure, which trapped 173 people for nearly seven hours on Tuesday night. The company said it could take some time to fix the problem. But it would also take time for a round of safety checks and getting the green light to re-start operations. A day after the harrowing experience of visitors being winched down from the Singapore Flyer, the tourists still came by the bus loads to catch a ride on the wheel, unaware of the closure. One tourist said: "I have been searching on the internet, and it said the first thing I would like to do when I come to Singapore (is to go on the Singapore Flyer). When I came here, I was so frustrated. (I have come) all the way from United States." Another tourist commented: "I already applied for leave and I decided to come over today... I wasted my time rushing over here." Even as repairs are being carried out, the Singapore Flyer's operator has assured the public that the wheel is safe. But for those thinking of going up on it, do not expect it to happen anytime soon, at least not until after the new year. That means the closure will have an impact on the tenants here. The management said it will be meeting the tenants to discuss the current situation. The operator also declined to reveal how much it will lose because of this closure. But losses are estimated to be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Steven Yeo, general manager, Singapore Flyer, said: "We have spoken to our corporate clients, they have confirmed their support for us. They have requested to reschedule their bookings to a later date." But while most tenants are seeing empty stores for now, one restaurant seems to be bucking the trend. Vinod Jakhmola, senior unit manager, SSP Singapore, said: "Whatever situation it is, it is for a short while. It will move on and we have to move further than that. In case of business, this is a lovely destination. People will still come back for the food outlets and definitely for the rides also." The Flyer's operator also revealed that its recent decision to reverse the rotation of the wheel was not a factor in the latest breakdown. In fact, it was a component failure which resulted in a small fire, and that caused a power outage, shutting down the entire system. Mr Yeo said even though the small fire was put out in minutes, it had caused certain problems in the circuitry board, which as a result, had to be taken out for repairs. However, even when the repairs are completed and safety checks done, the operator will still have to get the go-ahead from the police for the all-clear. - CNA/ms
